Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of clipfox.cc (the "Site") and any video editing and production services provided by Clipfox ("Clipfox", "we", "our", or "us"). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

Clipfox is a video editing and production studio operating out of Kolkata, India. You can reach us at sarthak.clipfox@gmail.com.

The Site provides information about our work, lets you view portfolio content, and lets you book a discovery call. Any paid services — video editing, post-production, podcast production, thumbnails, content strategy, or related deliverables — are governed by a separate written engagement, statement of work, or contract between Clipfox and the client. Where those documents conflict with these Terms, the engagement document controls for that client.

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest content in a way that places undue load on the Site
• Use the Site to send spam, malware, or any unlawful content
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any other person or entity

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms.

Our content. All branding, copy, design, code, and other material on clipfox.cc is owned by Clipfox or used with permission. You may not copy, redistribute, or use it without our written permission, except as needed to view the Site in a normal browser.

Portfolio examples. The video work shown on the Site is owned by the respective clients and is displayed with permission as portfolio reference. You may not reuse it without permission from both the client and Clipfox.

Client deliverables. Where we produce video work for a client under an engagement, ownership of the final delivered files is governed by that engagement. As a default, final deliverables transfer to the client on completion of the engagement, while raw project files, source assets, and working sessions remain with Clipfox unless the engagement says otherwise.

Portfolio rights. Unless a client requests otherwise in writing, Clipfox retains the right to display delivered work as part of our portfolio, case studies, social media, and marketing materials, and to identify the client as a client of Clipfox. A client may opt out of portfolio use by giving us written notice before or during the engagement.

Booking a discovery call or sending an enquiry does not create an engagement. An engagement begins only when both parties agree in writing to a scope, timeline, and any other commercial terms.

Information shared with us during an engagement — including project briefs, raw footage, internal documents, and audience data — is treated as confidential and used only to deliver the engaged services. We expect the same treatment of information we share with clients, including our pricing, processes, and unreleased work.

The Site uses third-party services such as scheduling tools, video embeds, hosting, and analytics. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control, and your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

The Site and any free content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we do not guarantee any specific business, marketing, or revenue outcome from any content or service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipfox is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Site or our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to an engagement is limited to the amount paid by the client to Clipfox under that engagement in the three months immediately before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

You agree to defend and hold Clipfox harmless from any third-party claim arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Site, or (c) any material you provide to us for use in a project where you did not have the rights to provide it.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if you violate these Terms. The sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
